How much can I buy?

Any person enrolling in the Iowa Medical Cannabidiol Program will have an initial limit of 4.5 grams of THC every 90 days. This can be increased with a follow up appointment with your original recommending provider. For this reason we have provided our premium package, allowing a booking for a follow up appointment and an avenue for a limit increase.

Can I use insurance to pay/reimburse CannaConnect's fee or cost of cannabis products?

CannaConnect does not accept insurance. As per the Iowa Department of Public Health, “Medical cannabidiol products are not eligible for repayment through insurance or traditional reimbursement programs at this time. Patients and caregivers should expect to pay cash for their medical cannabidiol products, although some dispensaries may allow debit or credit card payments.”

As of now assume all services and products will be paid out of pocket.

Does being a medical patient effect my 2nd amendment?

Currently cannabis is a schedule 1 drug. Because of this scheduling, the ATF has stated that  a medical card holder is not legally able to purchase or posses firearms or ammunition. We ask that you speak with an attorney if you have more questions regarding your rights.
