If gone untreated, chronic pain can lead to further physical and mental health complications. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Headaches, including migraines
- Joint pain, including arthritis
- Back pain
- Neck pain
- Cancer related pain
- Lasting pain in scar tissue
- Muscle pain all over, including fibromyalgia
- Neurogenic pain, from damage of nerves or other parts of the nervous system
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition that’s triggered by a terrifying event – either experiencing it or witnessing it. Symptoms may include flashbacks, nightmares, and severe anxiety, as well as uncontrollable thoughts about the event. Could appear as soon as one month after the event but could also be delayed showing up in the years following.
HIV is a sexually transmitted infection (STI). It can also spread with infected blood from an illicit injection drug use or sharing needles. It can also be spread from mother to child during pregnancy, childbirth, or breastfeeding. Without medication, it could take years before HIV weakens your immune system to the point that you have AIDS.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a nervous disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. ALS causes loss of muscle control and gets worse over time. A small number of cases are inherited.
Autism spectrum disorder is a condition related to brain development that impacts how a person perceives and socializes with others, causing problems in social interaction and communication. The disorder also includes limited and repetitive patterns of behavior. The term “spectrum” refers to the wide range of symptoms and severity.

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a potentially disabling disease of the brain and spinal cord (central nervous system). MS causes the immune system to attack the protective sheath (myelin) that covers nerve fibers which results in communication problems between the brain and the rest of the body.
A progressive disorder that affects the nervous system and the parts of the body controlled by the nerves. Symptoms start slowly, sometimes being barely noticeable. Tremors, stiffness and slowing the movement are the most common signs of the early stages of Parkinson’s disease.
A seizure is a sudden, uncontrolled burst of electrical activity in the brain. It can cause changes in behavior, movements, feelings and levels of consciousness. Having two or more seizures at least 24 hours apart that don’t have a known cause is considered epilepsy.

Who We Are
CannaConnect has a goal of enabling patients to take control of their health by utilizing medical cannabis products. We believe the legal penalties a qualified patient could face for using cannabis are outdated and immoral. We aim to break the negative stigma that comes with these products by providing legal access to those that are most in need.
